Design Architect
We can provide either full or partial architectural design services from conceptual design through construction/permit documents. As part of the process we regularly liaise with Owner, and can also coordinate meetings with regulatory officials (i.e., City, State, etc.), contractors and other consultants where appropriate to review design and/or construction progress.
Architect of Record
In large or complex projects where a design architect is already selected, SDFA can act as a local Architect of Record and can also stamp and submit the drawings for local authorities having jurisdiction.
Consulting Architect
SDFA provides as-needed technical support and subject matter expertise to assist the owner in assessing the progress or status of a design/development/construction project to enable the owner in making decisions to drive the project forward in the best way possible.
Owner’s Representative
Similar to Consulting Architect role, but acts as an agent for the owner and is consistently present throughout the project, from concept through completion of construction. We will regularly meet with the owner and outside architect, engineer, and/or contractor entities to help manage the flow and communication during the project’s duration.
